SLIPCORD
Create a password-protected room and talk, screen-share, watch YouTube together, and chat with friends -- all at once, with AI noise cancellation on your mic and a volume slider for each other person in the room.
Waiting for the host to load a video…
No one is sharing their screen right now.
Someone else's screen-share audio plays through their own volume slider in the member list on the right, alongside their voice -- not a separate control here.
Screen-share works best on a normal home network -- there's no relay server for it (peer-to-peer only), so very restrictive networks may fail to connect.
Sharing a video and it shows up black for everyone else? DRM-protected streaming video (Netflix and similar) is deliberately blacked out in any screen capture, by design -- no app can work around that. For non-DRM video (like Plex), pick the specific browser tab when the share prompt appears rather than your entire screen or a window -- it's more reliable for video content.

Voice relays through TURN when a direct connection isn't possible, so it works across most networks including restrictive corporate/mobile ones. Screen-share is still peer-to-peer only (no relay), so very restrictive networks may fail to see a shared screen. Rooms are capped at 8 members to keep the number of simultaneous voice connections manageable.
Room codes are ephemeral -- a room disappears once everyone leaves. No accounts, no history saved.
